Our Psychologists can help you achieve and maintain emotional and psychological well-being through guided therapy. Most individuals are affected by stress, anxiety, low mood, depression, anger, grief and relationship matters at some stage in their lives. It's important to speak to your doctor if you believe you may be affected. Neglecting your psychological health may impact on other areas of your life such as your social life, sleep, work and/or study.
Our Psychologists have undertaken training in delivering evidence based psychotherapy services such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy (IPT).
Our Psychologists offer a tailored therapy approach to meet your individual circumstances to help you achieve and maintain your emotional and psychological wellbeing.
If your psychological health is impaired, you may be eligible for a Mental Health Care Plan. A Mental Health Care Plan can be created by your GP to enable you to see a psychologist and access medicare rebates. Our
Doctors have additional training in Mental Health Conditions and look forward to helping you.
If you feel that you may be suffering from a mood disorder, anxiety or depression, the
Black Dog Institute and
beyondblue website provides useful information such as fact sheets and self-tests that you can undertake prior to seeing your doctor or psychologist.
In addition to anxiety and depression, our psychologists can help address early childhood and behavioural issues, grief, relationship and work conflicts, phobias such as social phobia, chronic pain and/or chronic fatigue.
